These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NEURA mobile app (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using NEURA you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the App.

1. What NEURA is

NEURA is a brain-training app: short, procedurally generated puzzle games, a daily challenge, streaks, and a personal Focus Index that tracks how your performance in the games changes over time.

NEURA is not a medical or diagnostic product. The games, scores, and the Focus Index are for entertainment, motivation, and self-improvement purposes only. They are not an IQ test, a clinical assessment, or a measure of intelligence, and they must not be relied on for medical, educational, employment, or any other significant decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your country to use NEURA (and in any case at least 13 years old). NEURA is not directed to children.

3. Your account

You can use NEURA without creating an account: on first launch the App creates an anonymous profile tied to your device. If sign-in (e.g. Sign in with Apple) is available, you can link your anonymous profile to it so your progress can be restored on a new device. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your profile on your device.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use NEURA for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • disrupt, overload, or interfere with the App or its servers;
  • reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or resell the App or its content;
  • use bots, automation, or exploits to manipulate scores, streaks, or the leaderboard;
  • misuse the support form (spam, abusive or unlawful content);
  • attempt to access other users’ data or bypass technical safeguards.

We may restrict features, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend or terminate access for profiles that violate these Terms or harm the service or other users.

6. Subscriptions & free trial

NEURA offers an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store, with a free trial for new subscribers (the current trial length and prices are always shown on the purchase screen before you buy).

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

7. Leaderboard & shared content

If you take part in the weekly leaderboard, the display name you choose (and your results) may be visible to other users. Weekly progress certificates you choose to share via a link contain only anonymous figures — no name, email, or other personal identifiers.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Intellectual property

The NEURA app, brand, games, and software are owned by us and protected by law. Puzzle content in NEURA is generated procedurally by our own systems. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content.

10. Termination

You may stop using NEURA at any time and request deletion of your data from within the App (see the Privacy Policy for what deletion means). We may suspend or terminate access for profiles that breach these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

NEURA is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service, or that training with NEURA will produce any particular cognitive outcome.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted (see the “Last updated” date above); continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
